Legends Hospitality
Legends Hospitality is a three branch company that focuses on bringing a unique experience and outstanding service to the client and their market. The three divisions are: Hospitality, Global Planning, and Global Sales. During my time with the company I was working out of their Dallas, TX office - I was part of a 4 person design team that handled any task requested by any of the clients worldwide. My day to day workload consisted of tackling digital and print marketing, branding, motion graphics, video editing, and layout design. The company’s early success is directly related to its ability to tackle new business ventures, the team and I constantly created and submitted new RFPs (Request for Proposal) that could easily grow to be 150 page documents; it was common for us to design, produce, and mail out books within a 3 week period. It was imperative for us to understand the market and each prospective client’s brand, we dove into their style and executed what we thought was the perfect blend between our vision for their venue while keeping their identity intact. Below are some examples of the work I created with Legends Hospitality.
Request for Proposal
These two books are examples of covers designed for RFPs - one for the Pacers arena, Bankers Life Fieldhouse, and the Allianz Stadium.
Digital Presentation
Legends Hospitality was submitting a proposal to handle the planning portion for the Manchester City Tour and Visitor Project. This was my contribution to the team effort to design a look and feel for the digital presentation, we tend to focus on the environment and brand - not necessarily the players as they come and go, so this was my form of compromise to show the player in motion without highlighting the player.
Microsite
Each RFP we created, we included a web based version of the proposition. We used the WIX platform to execute quick versions of our printed proposals and turned around this presentation within the week.
Request For Proposal
Another example for an RFP design, this time for the renovation of the Levi’s Stadium - their goal was to attract the fans to join them on game day once again. Their huge push to implement new technology to an “older” stadium, such as interactive apps, better WIFI connectivity, and an improved in-game experience.
Print Marketing
Legends Hospitality worked with Kitchen 21 to not only help operate the restaurant but also help push traffic with marketing. Here’s an example of two posters I created for the restaurant that were intended to be used in the New York subway system.
Request For Proposal
We aimed to create stunning books in order to make the RFP process easier for all parties - we designed them with a magazine feel in mind as opposed to Microsoft Word document. To the left: covers resembling callouts as you would normally see on a magazine in a doctor’s waiting room. To the right: you see a sample spread of a proposed menu for the Chase Club Suite.
Update Presentation
Once we secured the project and production began, we frequented the client and gave them regular updates and kept up with timelines and relationships.
Here’s the cover I designed for the Stadio Della Roma presentation.
Identity
The “Local Eats to You” initiative was a new proposition that gave the fan the power to order locally sourced food right from their seat using a newly implemented digital platform. I had the opportunity to design the packaging, presentation, and identity.
Disclaimer: I did not design the Angels Athletics ‘A’ Mark, the team regularly likes to include the ‘A’ in branded initiatives and was requested in our project.
Marketing
I was apart of the team who redesigned the identity for the Sky View Observatory, with that redesign part of the team resources were allocated to print and digital marketing. Here’s an example of a billboard designed with the new brand in mind.
Marketing
As an effort to increate foot traffic to the newly opened Kitchen 21 management planned a 2018 NYE Bash - here’s the 6”x4” handout.
Flames were added in After Effects to the Las Vegas Stadium Renders to help portray the look to expect when visiting.
